If you’ve ever thought, “I feel stuck in a story that doesn’t fit anymore,” you’re in the right place. I work with both children and adults who are carrying anxiety, self-doubt, and the kind of negative self-talk that can quietly shape everything — how you show up at school, at work, in relationships, and even in your own head.
I especially enjoy working with:
-
Children struggling with anxiety and low self-esteem
-
Adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, and a harsh inner critic
-
Anyone who feels stuck in an old narrative and wants help rewriting it
Areas I commonly help with include:
-
Anxiety
-
Low self-esteem
-
Negative self-talk
-
Feeling stuck
-
Burnout and overwhelm
What it’s like to work with me
My style is collaborative. You won’t be “talked at” in therapy — we work together to understand what’s been shaping your self-concept, what you’ve been carrying, and what needs to shift. I want therapy to feel supportive and empowering, with steady encouragement and a pace that feels doable.
My approach
I draw from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Biofeedback, and Play Therapy, and I also offer Animal Assisted Counseling. For many clients (especially kids), the presence of an animal can make therapy feel more approachable, more grounded, and simply less intimidating. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths and build a story about yourself that feels truer, kinder, and more empowering.
At the heart of my work is this: I believe everyone has a story that holds strength and meaning. Sometimes that story gets overshadowed by life experiences — and therapy can be a place to find your way back to yourself, and to the parts of your story that feel empowering again.
You might be a good fit for working with me if you:
-
Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or burned out and don’t know where to start
-
Notice a pattern of negative self-talk or low self-worth that you can’t seem to shake
-
Feel stuck in a version of yourself that no longer fits
-
Want therapy that is collaborative, strengths-based, and gently empowering
-
