If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like things are getting harder instead of better, you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Many of the kids, teens, and adults I work with come in carrying a mix of anxiety, grief, trauma, and self-doubt, often with a fear that they’re out of options or that things won’t change. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel supported, and start finding your way forward again.
I work with children, teens, and adults (ages 5+), and I often support clients and families navigating both everyday stressors and deeply painful life experiences.
Areas I commonly help with include:
-
Grief (including complex or traumatic grief)
-
Trauma
-
ADHD
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Behavioral concerns
-
Self-image and self-esteem
-
Adjustments and difficult transitions
What it’s like to work with me
I am open, direct, and collaborative — and our work is client-led, meaning we’ll move into deeper topics as you feel ready. I believe therapy should feel conversational and comfortable, while still helping you make real progress. I also believe talk therapy should challenge you without being difficult — the foundation is always trust, safety, and connection.
My approach
I use Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and CBT. As a Registered Play Therapist, I incorporate my background in art, theater, and sports to create an environment where kids and teens can explore their emotions and express themselves in a way that feels natural — using their language — in a safe, non-judgmental space.
I also have extensive training working with complex traumatic grief, trauma, and the unique experiences that can come with military families and military life.
One thing I want clients to know is that, regardless of age, therapy is an emotionally intimate relationship — and my goal is for you (or your child) to feel safe, supported, and genuinely connected as we do this work together.
You might be a good fit for working with me if you:
-
Feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally shut down and aren’t sure where to start
-
Are worried things won’t change — or that they’ll get worse
-
Want therapy that feels supportive and comfortable, but still helps you grow
-
Are looking for a play therapist who can help a child or teen express what’s hard to put into words

Are navigating grief, trauma, or the ripple effects of a difficult life experience

A little about me outside the therapy room
I live curiously — traveling somewhere new each year, trying new foods and experiences, and meeting new people. I also love scuba diving, cooking, creating art, and spending time with my family.
